Princess For A Day!
Our birth parent support group, Placement From The Heart, is excited to announce another wonderful way to honor our moms who have placed a baby for adoption. We now dedicate the meeting immediately following delivery to our brave members who placed their child that month. No one is more deserving of a little pampering than these unselfish women. Princess For A Day was a great success.

Vision Board Party!
Placement From The Heart is on the move. Many thanks to a very special member who hosted our first “Vision Board Party on the Beach”. This was the perfect activity. We were able to relax, enjoy good food and conversation while we thought about all of the positive things we wanted more of in our lives. As we gathered around the table to search magazines for inspirational saying and pictures, we discovered that it was as much fun to find the “perfect phrase” for our friend as it was to find one for ourselves. There were times, however, that our friend did not necessarily agree with our brilliant insight into her life (LOL)…but we each knew that all suggestions were given from a place of love.

Armed with scissors, glue sticks and markers we were determined to define our dreams and influence our destiny. Construction of such an important piece of art required space, so many of us moved to the floor to allow room for the creative juices to flow. Being a group with many different talents, each board was a unique as its creator. As our boards neared completion we each shared why we choose the specific pictures and phrases and the hopes they represent for our future. Some of us decided to continue to work on this project at home by adding more objects that will help define our life’s path. We talked about where the perfect place to hang our Vision Board would be: over the bed, in the living room, even on the bathroom mirror. We all agreed that this party was both fun and inspirational and that we would like to do this again sometime.
