A Special Reunion Between Two Families…

This is what a beautiful adoption story looks like….Thank you all again!!! We are forever grateful to you all and “Suzie”’s birth parents. We honor and cherish “Jack” and “Charlotte”.

Today was such a beautiful day in “Suzie’s” life! “Suzie” met with her birth father (“Jack”), his mother, “Sandra” and her husband, “Samuel”. Her birth mother (“Charlotte”) was ill and unable to meet with us. 🙁

We started the day by meeting at a park and let “Suzie” run around and play. She instantly bonded with “Jack”! We forewarned him that she has been very “clingy” to mommy and daddy lately — not even going to the people she sees on a regular basis (grandparents, aunts and uncles). All she ever wants is mommy and daddy! So for her to bond with him — almost immediately was a miracle! “Jack” played with her at the park, while we stood off to the side and just let them be.

I, of course, snapped tons of photos so I could share with them — and also to make a photo book for “Suzie” for when she gets older. We then all went to lunch, followed by walking to an ice cream shop. “Jack” bought “Suzie” an ice cream and fed it to her. It was soo sweet. When we left we told “Suzie” to give hugs and kisses. She walks right over to “Jack” and his mom and gave them each a kiss. It was absolutely precious! Also – “Jack”’s mom gave “Suzie” a stuffed lamb that she crocheted a dress and hat to fit on it. “Suzie” loves it!

I cannot even put into words what that day has meant to us — and probably “Jack” and his mom. Beautiful memories were created today — ones that we will cherish forever! “Suzie” is loved by soo many!
